Cricket fans, mark your calendars! New Zealand Cricket has just revealed its highly anticipated New Zealand Cricket Schedule 2025-26 for a home summer packed with international excitement. Prepare for thrilling clashes as some of the world’s best teams arrive on New Zealand shores. This season promises incredible cricket, offering something for every fan.
The action kicks off early in October 2025. First up, the Blackcaps will face fierce rivals Australia in a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series, starting on October 1st. Soon after, England arrives for a white-ball tour. They will play three T20Is, followed by three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
Next, the West Indies will embark on a comprehensive tour. This includes five T20Is, three ODIs, and a crucial three-Test series. The T20Is start in early November, with the ODIs following later in November. The Test series will begin in December. This test series also marks the beginning of New Zealand’s fourth cycle in the ICC World Test Championship.
However, the excitement doesn’t stop there! The Blackcaps will host South Africa in March 2026 for a five-match T20I series. Many of these matches will be doubleheaders, meaning the White Ferns (New Zealand’s women’s team) will also play against South Africa on the same day. This innovative format offers fantastic value for fans. This T20 series is vital preparation for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in early 2026, to be held in India and Sri Lanka.
The White Ferns also have a busy schedule. They will host Zimbabwe for the very first time in a bilateral series in February and March 2026. This historic tour includes three T20Is and three ODIs. Following this, they will also face South Africa in five T20Is and three ODIs from late March into early April.
To sum up, New Zealand’s home international summer will feature 46 days of action-packed cricket. Nine different venues across the country will host these matches. This ensures fans from many regions can easily watch their favorite teams play. It shows New Zealand Cricket’s effort to grow the game. Both men’s and women’s teams aim to shine on both the global stage and at home in front of their dedicated fans.
